Mon 12/2 | Notes and examples on direct/inverse/joint/combined variation. Basically FOUR steps to follow: 1. Identify which type you need to use and write down the generic type. 2. Substitute in the “given” information and solve for “k” (the constant of variation…which needs to be in every problem). 3. Re-write the equation…this time subbing in the actual “k” value….this is considered the MODEL. And 4. Use the model to do a “new” problem…there will be more information in each problem.
